PICCA provides low-cost transportation throughout Circleville, Pickaway County, and even to Columbus. Work, shopping, appointments and more are just an easy ride away.
PICCA’s ADA Paratransit Policy
PICCA’s ADA paratransit policy is written to establish operating and service guidelines and procedures for the implementation of the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), the U.S. Department of Transportation (U.S. DOT) regulations for implementing ADA (49 CFR Parts 27, 37 and 38), and any applicable state laws and regulations. PICCA Transit operates a demand response service and complies with ADA requirements with respect to such services.

This service complies with Title VI and Civil Rights and Regulations and does not discriminate against any person on the basis of race, color or national origin. This service also does not discriminate on the basis of religious belief, sexual orientation, income, disability, or age.
This service operates in compliance with Title II of the ADA Act and does not discriminate on the basis of disability.

Demand Response
In-City Rate
In-City Rates are for trips that begin and end within the city limits of Circleville.
Immediate Response (reservations made with only 1 hour notice): $3
Demand Response (reservations made with 24 hour notice): $1
E/D Discount: 50% discount for those who have submitted an E/D application.
Out-of-City Rate
Out-of-City Rates are for trips that have either a pick-up or drop-off outside the city limits of Circleville.
Immediate Response (1 hour notice): $3 + $1 a mile
Demand Response (24 hour notice): $1 + $1 a mile
E/D Discount: Fares are reduced on the base amount, not per mile. Example: $3 + $1 per mile is discounted to $1.50 + $1 per mile.

PICCA Transit is affordable public transportation for anyone to use in Circleville and Pickaway County – and even to get to and from Columbus.

Flex Bus – a free bus that travels in a loop around Circleville. You can also request pick up or drop off at a custom location within city limits, like your home or work. Get on at Walmart and off at home. Or get picked up at home and dropped off at OhioHealth Berger Hospital.
Demand Response – door-to-door service you schedule yourself. The pick-up and drop-off locations must be within Pickaway County. Perfect for shopping, appointments and more.
Rickenbacker Shuttle – a free bus that travels between Circleville and Rickenbacker.

PICCA Transit is open to anyone in Pickaway County. Every vehicle is accessible for individuals with disabilities and drivers are trained to safely assist those who need it.

PICCA Transit operates weekdays Monday – Friday. Hours vary slightly depending on the route.

Our Routes
Flex Bus Route
PICCA Transit offers a point deviation route for the Circleville city area. This is a looping bus route, open to the public. Available Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM.
Rickenbacker Shuttle
The Rickenbacker Shuttle is a fixed route service, transporting workers from Circleville to the Rickenbacker area, and then from Rickenbacker to Circleville. This is a free fare route. Available Monday-Friday 5:45AM-5PM.
